Every year you can get into hundreds of museums across the nation absolutely free! This year the free admission date is September 27th. There are fifteen participating museums throughout Michigan and five are in Metro Detroit! Teaching our kids where their food is from is very important, that's why each year the Michigan Dairy Council puts on Breakfast on the Farm. The events go throughout the summer, at different Michigan dairy farms throughout the state. You can attend, enjoy a free breakfast and learn all about dairy production in our home state! Even as an adult, you'll be surprised at some of the facts about milk, and even the behind the scene processes that go into getting it to the store. 

You do need tickets to attend, so check out the locations below and get yours! It's a great educational opportunity, fun for the family and free!

Calling all Disney Lovers! A brand new Disney Store will be opening in Troy at the end of the month! On Saturday May 31st, the brand new Disney Store will be opening in Somerset Collections. Stop in for a free gift, pictures with Mickey and Minnie and even the Disney Princess Castle, magical trees and the Disney Store Theater.

With more snow coming this weekend, we all might be facing a little bit of cabin fever. But this weekend is a great time to get out, enjoy the winter, the snow and some great winter activities. 

February 7th through 9th is the annual Winter Blast at Campus Martius Park downtown Detroit. Downtown Detroit becomes a winter play ground with free ice skating, a winter carnival and even a Red Wings Experience.
